Back before Wordpress became one of the biggest, best things in CMS systems, I designed this CMS website for Supper Restaurant (on South Street, 2007—2015) and worked with developer Christine Reyes and her brother Mark Concurant to build a custom CMS website for the restaurant.

On a recent visit with my Aunt Lorsie (Dolores
), she brought out and showed me these amazing caricature drawings that a friend of hers in Dakar, Senegal, did of herself and Uncle Charlie while they lived there working with New Tribes Mission. The drawings are done on the backs of scrap cardboard, discarded printing proofs of pharmaceutical packaging. I love the “grotesque” nature of his drawings, and its very assured line work.
